After creating the Spice Tin Angel ornaments, I decided to try my hand at found object robots. These are my first two ... not counting Mr. Pumpkin Head for Halloween. The Colman's Tin Man is a cute little guy ... inspired by the Wizard of OZ and the Tin Man ... tin body, wooden head and rhinestone eyes. Check him out here.
The Colman's Running Lady was in my head for some time ... so I put her together. I especially like the adaptation of a Lalique glass hood ornament for her head. Pretty swift! See her here.
I have dubbed these found object figures as "Bobots" ... more will be coming. I have these listed on our Just Write Arts site and on the Lopaka Etsy site as well.
