Greeting Note Card - Hawaiian Kingdom Coat of Arms ... "Ua Mau ke Ea o ka ‘Âina i ka Pono" (“The life of the land is perpetuated in righteousness”)

The design dates from the time of King Kamehameha III. The coat of arms of the Nation of Hawai‘i was drawn up and adopted by the Nation of Hawai'i in 1845. This shield has been incorporated into the official coat of arms and shield adopted by the State of Hawai'i.
