This is a handmade sketch notebook. Hand cut, hand sewn, hand assembled. The covers are printed from an original photograph I took in Point Porpoise, Maine, where the fisherman hang up their buoys to dry until the time comes to set out the lobster traps. Covers are heavy textured cardstock; the inside pages are quality vintage Strathmore 400 series sketch paper … 60 lb. (89 g/m2) with a fine-tooth surface. The paper is very lightly textured, acid free sketch paper that is ideal for quick, dry media sketches … perfect for any type of journal, diary, reminders or notes; but is especially good for off-hand sketches, travel journals, drawings and such. Works with any type of dry writing instrument … graphite or colored pencil, charcoal, pastels, chalk, crayons, dry markers, regular and ballpoint ink pens, sketching stick, soft pastel, mixed media (dry), oil pastel … and also fine with ink or markers (but not too wet.)
 
Includes one sketch notebook with 16 pages (32 sides) plus covers and comes in a plastic sleeve. Handsewn using embroidery thread … nice and strong. Pages are 3”x5”.
